Recent snowfall has blanketed the Rocky Mountains... for some this is the beginning of the end, but for skiers and Rocky Mountain Getaways we're thrilled to see winter return! And boy did it come in strong. As locals we often talk about the coming winter, are we ready for it etc etc. One resounding sentiment is that most people can embrace winter if it comes like the flip of a switch. One moment it's an apple pie sunny day with beautiful fall colors and the next it's white. Snow everywhere! You can bet people will be getting out to ski and snowboard today!
