Early-season snow is stacking up in record amounts and our snow totals are off the charts! We’re more than excited to share some news from around ski country because we eat sleep and breathe snow!   In destinations known for deep snow and sunny days, why are we so excited about the snowfall totals so far this ski season? Well, it’s a promising sign that we will be skiing and riding into spring with more than enough coverage to ensure quality spring skiing! When resorts open 100% of their terrain it spreads people out, reduces lift lines, and gives visitors more places to grow and explore new terrain. Our average January snowfall is usually around 45” and we have already received 69” of freshies this January! We’ve had some incredible storm cycles which make it possible for some of our famed advance terrain to open! Gold Hill Chute 1 opened yesterday, the hike-to Black Iron Bowl is open, Milk Run opened as I typed out this email, and the entire mountain is skiing great!
