The Correntoso Lake & River Hotel offers tranquility and hospitality at the foot of the Andes Mountains. What was once a small cabin built in 1917 when the only way to access this remote portion of Patagonia was by boat or hydroplane, has now become an impressive hotel boasting awe-inspiring views and access to a wide variety of outdoor adventures.

With its atmosphere of rustic elegance, the wood adorned lobby offers several seating areas, a library of books, and a cozy fireplace. Guest rooms are thoughtfully decorated with comfortable bedding and luxurious bathroom finishes. The lake views are spectacular through the oversized windows, and some rooms feature expansive balconies with seating that makes you feel like you are immersed in the gorgeous scenery below.

There are two restaurants located on the property; one featuring a more gourmet approach with local game and produce, the other a more casual dining experience located on the deck overlooking the lake. After hitting the slopes or town, an in-house spa offers relaxing treatments to awaken all senses using natural Patagonia products.

Correntoso Lake & River Hotel is a one hour drive from Bariloche, five minutes from Villa la Angostura, and 11.5 miles away from Cerro Bayo, a small but challenging ski center.
