Fire And Ice Lodge

Stunning modern architecture combines with ravishing mountain scenery to produce this one-of-a-kind Rocky Mountain retreat in gorgeous Mountain Village. Dispersed across nearly 4300 opulent square feet, Fire and Ice also has a 1500 square foot multi-tier deck with a jaw-dropping view of the San Sophia Ridge. Full disclosure— once you open the door to Fire and Ice you’ll find it nearly impossible to leave!

In the main living area, a soaring wall of windows frames the peaceful views of the forest and the mountain peaks beyond. Soft, cream-colored furnishings and walls allow the epic views to take center stage. Off to one side, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace anchors the room and provides cozy warmth on chilly evenings. High above, the vaulted ceiling is highlighted by exposed v-shaped beams with intricate metal details.

Outside, the views from the deck of this home must be seen to be believed. In the warmer months, you’ll find it difficult to tear yourself away from the sparkling sunshine, refreshing mountain air, and show-stopping views of the peaks. There’s also a barbecue area and space for dining alfresco amongst the pine trees.

In the gleaming open kitchen, lush dark cabinets with luxe gold hardware contrast perfectly with the clean, white countertops. A gas Wolf range, Sub Zero paneled refrigerator, coffee bar, and gorgeous herringbone tiles add a dollop of high-end luxury to the efficiently-designed chef space. There’s also an island with relaxed bar seating and a spacious dining table nearby.

Down a hallway lies the main level master suite. This comfy and private oasis features a sumptuous king-size bed, a tray ceiling with elegant recessed lighting, a fireplace, and access to the sun-dappled balcony. Soak the stress of the day away in the freestanding marble master bathtub or the huge glass-enclosed shower.

Four more plush and private bedrooms are on the lower level. There’s another master suite with a king-size bed, ensuite spa-like bathroom, fireplace, and access to the lower level deck space. The third and fourth bedrooms each have queen-size beds and attached full bathrooms. The fifth and final bedroom has a twin-size bed with a twin-size trundle— perfect for little ones.

Also on the lower level is a bonus living area— complete with a sprawling sectional sofa and flat-screen television that are perfect curl-up spots for a movie night in with some popcorn. Glass doors lead out to the lower deck and a bubbly hot tub. There’s also a laundry room on the lower level.

With a perfect balance of rustic yet modern vibes, a secluded Mountain Village location that still keeps you close to the slopes, and an endless array of luxurious finishes and details, a stay at Fire and Ice is positively heavenly from start to finish.
