Nestled at the foot of the Alta Ski Resort and a short shuttle from Snowbird, the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge promises a mountain vacation focused on excitement. With the ski slopes and Utah's “Greatest Snow on Earth” just steps away, this charming mountain lodge offers a comfortable retreat with a variety of guest room types and an array of on-site amenities designed for a fun and convenient vacation in the mountains.

Since 1962, the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge has invited outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the mountain adventures that surround this retreat in the Rocky Mountains. Just steps from the lifts and Alta's pristine ski slopes, you will not miss a moment of prime skiing as you step out onto the slopes to start the day and ski right back to the property for lunch or Apres fun.

Continuing on a tradition started by the Lodge's founders, Jim & Elfriede Shane, the focus here is on the mountain first with everything else supporting the passion for skiing. Many things have been upgraded since opening in 1962, with added amenities in and out of the rooms including an exercise room, an activity/game room, and hot tub. Daily breakfast and dinner is included in your stay, served in the Lodge's window-framed restaurant, Apres ski at the Golminer's Saloon is always a favorite, and the Slopeside Cafe offers tasty meals for both breakfast and lunch.

Room Options:

• Dorm Room: Offers four twin beds with a full bathroom and each bed is reserved separately. Dorm rooms are typically male only, but special accommodations may be made for co-ed or female groups or families. Please note that the dorm rooms do not have a TV.
• Small Guest Rooms: Ideal for a single or a couple with approximately 275 square feet of living space, one queen bed, and bathroom with a shower (no bathtub), and comfortably furnished with everything you need.
• Classic Guest Rooms: Comfortably furnished hotel room with approximately 290 square feet and a full bathroom. Classic Guest Rooms come with either one king bed or two double beds and enough storage space for a couple or a small family.
• Shane Suite: With two comfortable rooms, two full bathrooms, and approximately 580 square feet of space, the Shane Suite is a great fit for a family. This suite has a double Murphy bed and a twin day bed in the living area, and a comfy king bed in the bedroom. This suite also has a small fridge and an amazing view of Collins and Wildcat lifts and Alf's High Rustler!
• North Suites: Equipped with 2 full bathrooms, a mini fridge, and sleeping accommodations for 3 to 6 people. The bedroom has a king bed, while the living room area has a queen Murphy bed and a double sleeper sofa. Both rooms have a wall-mounted TV and plenty of storage space. Breakfast and dinner are included for all guests.
• Junior Suite:These suites are perfect for a small family. With approximately 458 square feet and two rooms, you'll have plenty of room to relax while still keeping an eye on the kids. The living area has two twin day beds and the bedroom has a king bed, and there is one full bathroom.
