Full Description

Nestled in the trees with the Big Sky ski slopes right outside the door and the most breathtaking mountain views surrounding, Grey Moose Lodge promises the most amazing Big Sky vacation experience. Spread over two levels of open living space, this 5 bedroom private vacation home with 4 bathrooms provides the ideal accommodations for groups of up to 13 guests who will appreciate the residence's quality furnishings, fine finishes, and prime location.

Designed for entertaining, the main level great room is an expansive space where the entire group can gather, relax, and take in the splendor of the mountain vistas that frame the living area. Comfortable furnishings center on a stone fireplace and flatscreen television in the cozy living room that is open to the dining area and kitchen. Seating for 12 is offered at the large dining table, the adjacent kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for 4, and a breakfast nook off of the kitchen has a table that seats 6 plus a couple of oversized chairs in a small sitting area. Step out onto the large deck off of the living room to find outdoor seating, a barbecue grill, a private hot tub, and some of the most amazing views of the Spanish Peaks. On the lower level is a cozy den with a sitting area, television, bubble hockey, and a full bathroom.

Five bedrooms are distributed over the two levels of the home, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 13 guests. Two bedrooms are located on the main level; the master suite is furnished with a King bed and has a private bathroom while the guest bedroom offers a Queen bed and shares a bathroom with the living space. Another bedroom with a King bed and private bathroom is located on the lower level along with two additional bedrooms that share the den bathroom. One of the lower level guest bedrooms is equipped with a Queen bed plus a Full bunk bed while the other offers two Twin bunk beds.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT ACCESS:

Lift start date varies, but typically early to mid December. No access until lifts open.

Ski Out: Ski access is from downstairs back door which leads under the deck. Turn left & ski along the side of hill, down approximately 10 yards to the groomed trail. To get to Moonlight Basin: take a right, skiing down to the Pony Express lift. To go directly to Big Sky Mountain Village: turn left on the groomed trail when exiting the back door and walk a short 50 yards up, past the bridge. Take a hard left on the lower trail access direct to the Mountain Village.

Ski In: From Big Sky, follow the BTR road towards Moonlight Basin. This trail connects with Blue Moon. Go approximately 2/3rds of the way down Blue Moon ski run and you will see the trail going back towards Big Sky. Follow this to the right of the Diamond Hitch houses. After 200 yards on this trail take the left fork towards the Pony Express Lift and away from Big Sky Mountain Village. You will go immediately under a road bridge and the house is the first one on the right.
