High Country Hideaway is a spacious alpine rental home, conveniently located just one mile across the valley from the Steamboat Ski Resort, and three miles from downtown’s restaurants, retail shops and nightlife. Offering five bedrooms plus a den with five and a half bathrooms, up to 14 guests can rest comfortably, and enjoy an array of amenities sure to enhance your vacation experience.   

A massive rock fireplace is the focal point of the living room, which also features an oversized plush sectional sofa, a large flat screen television and access to the upper outdoor deck. Step through a glass door to enjoy fresh mountain air and spectacular alpine scenery, along with a gas grill for alfresco cooking. Back inside, a fully equipped kitchen is stocked with all your necessities, with enough space to seat your whole party in neighboring the dining area, which boasts a large wooden table for 10, plus three stools at the kitchen counter. Upstairs from the living room, a cozy den offers a large bookshelf stuffed with literature and board games, a table perfect for game night or dining overflow, and a comfy sofa, all with large sunny windows. For even more space to congregate and relax, a lower level family room boasts a comfortable futon and a large wall-mounted television. Also on this level, you’ll find access to the lower deck and private hot tub, along with a peaceful sauna. When it comes to the slopes, organization is imperative and this wonderful home offers a generous sized mudroom stocked with boot heaters, cubbies for storage and a long bench for getting ready each morning. This area conveniently sits adjacent to the laundry room which features a full sized washer and dryer.

Five comfortably appointed bedrooms are spread throughout this multi-level home, offering a lodge-like feel and a good night’s rest. Perched on the top level, the master bedroom features a large bed, picture windows with views of the ski area, and a charming loft space with a bar and seating area. Relax and unwind in the large private master bath, which boasts a jetted tub, glass shower and a dual sink vanity. Bedroom two sits just off the den, and features multiple bedding, while the third guest room is considered another master, and offers a large bed, direct access to the lower deck, and a private bathroom boasting a dual sink vanity and a pampering spa-like shower. Also on the lower level of High Country Hideaway, bedroom four features cozy bedding with a hallway bathroom, with the fifth guest bedroom and full bathroom down a different set of stairs. For any extra lodging, there is a sleeper sofa in the den, plus a futon in the family room to accommodate up to four added guests.
