Ideally designed for entertaining, the main level Great Room is framed by windows that expose views of the surrounding forest and mountains. quality furnishings are centered on a stone fireplace and flat screen television in the living room with vaulted ceilings adding to the feeling of space. This open and voluminous gathering area includes a dining area with deck access and a full kitchen with granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and upscale appliances. Dramatic mountain views are enjoyed from the large deck with a private hot tub nestled into the snow below. Overlooking the Great Room is a large loft area that holds a Queen Sleeper Sofa for additional sleeping provisions.
With over 2,600 square feet of living space, Moosewood Meadows Retreat provides four spacious bedrooms, plus the loft area, to accommodate up to 10 guests. Three bedrooms are located on the upper level, two share a bathroom with the loft while the third offers a private bathroom. The fourth bedroom is on the main level and includes a full private bathroom.
Moosewood Meadows Retreat Features:
Ski accessibility: Young children and snowboarders should be aware that there are some flat sections used for ski access which is dependent on the opening date for White Otter lift.
Ski Out: Cross over parking lot at Moosewood complex to the snowbank that you will skate/pole towards phase 1 of Powder Ridge. After a short distance take a right turn and follow Powder Ridge access to White Otter Chair lift. The out involves some flat areas (75-100 yards).
Ski In: Follow Lower Morningstar to the second set of Powder Ridge signs. Follow signs for cabins 1-22 along the White Otter Lift and back towards cabins 1-7. Follow snowbank trail back to Moosewood and cross the parking area back to the home. This should be fairly easy for all types of skiers.
