The main residence’s great room is vast and open, featuring large windows which face the San Sophia ridge to the north along with vaulted ceilings and a massive rock wall housing a cozy gas fireplace. Modern yet comfortable furnishings create a space to enjoy the scenic vistas or relax and watch the flat screen television. Two sets of glass doors open out to a deck which faces north along with an additional south facing deck which offers an outdoor fireplace and a seating area for guests to watch the skiers head down the slopes in the afternoon sun. Directly behind the living room sits the home’s gourmet kitchen outfitted with top of the line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a wine fridge and two separate dishwashers.  Guests can enjoy the meals and snacks created in this dream kitchen in either the dinette area which seats four, the breakfast bar which can accommodate another four people or the formal dining room table which has room for eight guests to dine comfortably. A fully stocked laundry room and office are located just off the great room on the home’s main floor.

Two large master suites sit on either side of the great room. Both feature a private gas fireplace, small deck and an ensuite bathroom offering a deep tub and a steam shower. Beautiful views of the mountains can be enjoyed from the picture windows in each suite along with a large walk-in wardrobe and a flat screen television. Four additional guest rooms are found on the lower level of the home, each boasting its own private bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe.

The lower level of Russell Estate is an entertainment dream. There is a games room featuring a gas fireplace, ample comfortable seating, a foos ball table, separate cards table and a large flat screen television. A kitchen/bar area sits to the back of the room for guests’ convenience while hanging out downstairs. Just off the games room there is a large home theater designed with cozy seats and multi-levels for the ultimate in movie watching. The lower level also houses a separate ski room with tons of storage and access to the outdoor patio. This patio features a private hot tub along with direct access to the Galloping Goose ski run.

Russell Estate’s separate guesthouse is self-contained, offering a living room featuring comfortable seating and a fireplace, a gourmet kitchen complete with a cozy breakfast nook, and two additional bedrooms with two bathrooms. A deck provides the same sweeping views as the main residence and this home also features direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Galloping Goose ski trail.
