Stay right on the ski slopes with direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Madison Base Area of the Big Sky Resort at Silvertip Cabin 18. This 6 Bedroom, 5 bathroom mountain-chic ski cabin, with over 3,500 square feet of elegantly appointed living space, has been masterfully designed for convenience and comfort for larger groups of up to 16 guests with bedding that is ideal for multiple families.

Truly the ultimate Big Sky retreat for rejuvenation and tranquillity, this contemporary, open-concept vacation home boasts the most breathtaking mountain views that frame the expansive great room through walls of windows. Designer furnishings are focused on a gas fireplace and flat screen television in the living room that opens to the gourmet kitchen with upscale appliances and marble countertops. The dining area is situated around the kitchen’s huge center island that is the central feature of this space. The great room extends to an elevated wooden deck for a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Immerse yourself in Big Sky beauty as you BBQ under the stars and share stories around the fire pit.

The lower level offers extra space to hang out and have fun with a game room and family room with a comfortable sitting area and television for movie nights. Quietly situated on the outside patio is a secluded hot tub inviting you to cap off the day’s escapades the right way.

Six bedrooms equipped with a variety of bedding are spread over the three levels of your home in the mountains. On the ground level, where you will find the family room and game room, as well as direct access to the ski trails right outside the door, you will find two bedrooms. One is furnished with a King bed and includes a private bathroom while the other is a bunk room with two Twin bunk beds that shares the hall bathroom with the family and game rooms.

Just off of the entry on the the main level is a bedroom offering a queen bed that accesses the hall bathroom shared with the main living space. Off of the living room you will find the master suite furnished with a King bed and featuring access to the large deck plus a private bathroom. The upper level is home to a bedroom with a King bed and another bunk room with two Twin bunk beds, these rooms share a bathroom on this level.

Silvertip Cabins are located in a quiet neighborhood nestled on Moonlight Mountain of the Big Sky Resort. The perfect mountain retreat, yet only a short drive to the dining and shopping in Mountain Village, Basecamp’s Big Sky activities, and Meadow Village in downtown. Silvertip Cabins have direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School making early morning lessons a breeze. The lifts at Moonlight schedule to open early to mid-December with no ski access prior to lift opening.

Ski Out:  
Ski directly to the Madison base of the Moonlight Basin ski area via a groomed trail directly out your door that links up with the Natawista ski run. Follow Natawista through the tunnel under Peaks View Drive to the Madison base area. Stop at the base area for lessons or continue on Cinnabar to the Derringer lift (beginner area). More advanced skiers/snowboarders can hop on the Six Shooter lift and ride either the Moonlight or Big Sky side of the mountain. 

Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. From here either stay left on Cinnabar or or stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel and past the first skier bridge.  Take a hard right on Natawista run. Follow Natawista back over the next two skier bridges to the Silvertip Cabins.
