Within this restive retreat you will find the Whispering Pines Residence, a 5 bedroom duplex vacation home with 4.5 bathrooms for up to 12 guests. After a day of mountain adventure, whether spent on the Breckenridge ski slopes or hiking the nearby Quandary Mountain, wind down in the private outdoor hot tub while you listen to the whispering winds through the surrounding pines. 

Upon entering Whispering Pines discover an inviting and open Great Room with large windows and high ceilings with sliding doors leading to an expansive deck with outdoor seating in the summer months and a BBQ gas grill, and a space that is designed for entertaining. Spread out in the open floor plan that combines the kitchen, living room and dining area into a gathering place for the entire group. Overlooking the living room, the spacious kitchen features a gas stove, ample counter space, and a large island with bar seating for 4 guests. The adjacent dining area offers seating for 8 at the table. After dinner, retreat to the living area and enjoy a nice fire in the gas fireplace and a movie on the flat screen TV.

Just down the hall from the living area is the McCollough Master Suite featuring its own gas fireplace, a cozy king bed, TV, deck access, and a private ensuite bath boasting dual sinks on a large vanity, large soaking tub, and separate walk-in shower.

Also on the main level you’ll find a den/office which offers a quiet place to slip away to complete any work while on vacation or just relax on the sofa with a good book or movie on the large TV. A powder bath is conveniently located in the hallway.

Looking for some exciting evening entertainment and competition while on vacation? Discover the ultimate family room on the lower level complete with billiards, foosball, bar, and a comfortable sitting area with flat screen TV and a gas fireplace! Whether you prefer a night in with a great movie or an exciting foosball tournament, this is the perfect space for an evening of fun! You’ll also find the private hot tub outside the sliding glass door. 

Two bedrooms sharing a half bathroom are on the lower level: the Bemrose Guest Room equipped with a queen bed and Peaks View Bunk that has two twin bunk beds. The remaining two bedrooms sit on the upper level of the home. The Tarnwood Suite is furnished with a king bed, TV, and private ensuite bath. Across the hall is the Fredonia Gulch Suite also offering a king bed, TV, and private ensuite bath. 

You’ll discover endless outdoor adventures in Blue River, year-round including hiking/biking and fishing in the summer months and snowshoeing in winter. The nearby Mohawk Lakes are the perfect place to scope out wildlife and get your daily dose of outdoor adventure. Breckenridge is easily accessible by car (or shuttle!) in minutes. While staying at Whispering Pines you can easily walk to the free shuttle stop proving convenient transport to downtown Breckenridge and the ski slopes in less than 5 minutes.
