Getting to Niseko Travel

Niseko is located in the Abuta District of Hokkaido, Japan. Hokkaido is the northernmost of Japan’s main islands and is known for its volcanoes, natural hot springs, and ski resorts. Niseko is accessed by Hokkaido’s New Chitose International Airport for direct flights or is a 1.5-hour flight from Tokyo International Airport in the event you can’t get to Hokkaido directly from your point of origin.

About 52 flights depart Tokyo for New Chitose daily, once you arrive there is a 2 to 3-hour ground transfer to get to Niseko from the airport depending on the mode of transportation and road conditions.

Ground transfers from New Chitose, which is located outside of the Sapporo Metropolitan region, are available by local bus, train, rental car, taxi, or private transfer.
