For those who prefer to enjoy the snow on a more vertical level, the resort boasts an extensive 32 kilometer cross country skiing and snowshoeing trail network right on the mountain at McCoy Park accessible from the Strawberry Park Lift. Snowmobile tours and dogsledding excursions are just a short distance from the resort with transportation to the tours included. Beaver Creek’s ice skating pavilion anchors Beaver Creek Village and is a popular evening activity for families. Located in the town of Avon just outside the resort’s main gate, the Avon Recreation Center offers indoor swimming with a water park. Right in the heart of the resort is the Vilar Performing Arts Center where visitors can enjoy a variety of productions including plays, movies, comedy shows, and concerts often with nationally known acts.
