Full Description

Panoramic forest and mountain views frame your vacation retreat on the Big Sky ski slopes where your group of up to 12 guests will explore all of the outdoor adventures that surround from a luxurious and comfortable log cabin on the mountain. Located just above the White Otter Chairlift and only a few minutes from the Mountain Village, this 4 bedroom cabin with 3 bathrooms boasts prime ski-in/ski-out access to the Big Sky ski slopes right out of the door!

Ideally appointed for for multiple families or a group of friends, this 2,500 square foot private vacation home offers a spacious and open living area where the entire group can gather and entertain. Set under vaulted ceilings, the main level living room features comfortable furnishings centered on a stone-framed fireplace and flatscreen television. This space opens to a dining area with seating for 8 and a gourmet kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a breakfast bar that seats 2. Access to the deck with a barbecue grill and outdoor furnishings is off of the dining area.

Step downstairs to find a cozy family room with a comfortable sitting area, flatscreen television, and access to the back patio where you will cap off the day's escapades with a starlit soak in the private hot tub.

Four bedrooms are distributed over the three levels of the home providing quality bedding for up to 12 guests. Occupying the upper level is the master suite outfitted with a King bed, dual sink vanity, and private bathroom. A desk area sits in the loft off of the master suite. Two bedrooms on the main level share a bathroom, one is furnished with a King bed while the other offers a Queen bed. Off of the family room on the lower level is a bunk room equipped with two sets of Twin bunk beds plus a Twin bed that has a Twin trundle underneath.

SKI ACCESS:

Located directly across from the White Otter ski run next to the chair lift. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running.

Ski In: Follow Lower Morningstar to the SECOND set of Powder Ridge signs as indicated on the map. Exit here to skier’s left. Follow the signs towards the White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier access bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right and then follow until you cross under White Otter Chair lift. Your cabin will be on the right once you cross under the chairlift. Exit the trail after the second group of garages. (Green access)

Ski Out: Put skis on in front of the cabin and cross the road to the access point. Ski the groomed access trail next to the chairlift. This starts flat and will require skating or poling. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
