Snow, Snow... Everywhere There is Snow!

It has certainly been a season for the record books so far and there are still many more months to go. Epic storms over the past few weeks, some resulting in over 8 FEET of fresh snow on the ski slopes in just two days, have provided most of the Western US and Canadian ski resorts with incredible ski conditions not seen in decades. The 16-17 Ski Season is destined to go down as one of the best ever, that is, if you like fresh powder.

SNOW DAY 12/15/15

If you like skiing you'll love that El Niño is Delivering the Goods! All across the country from California, to Utah, north to Wyoming and Montana and south to Colorado El Niño is delivering the goods!

Opening Day was AWESOME!

Copper Mountain opened the 2015/16 ski season with a bang! Like many Colorado ski resorts the kickoff to the season has been ideal. Blessed with lots of early season snow and in between storms the Colorado sunny skies are fueling the super positive vibe! The 2015/16 ski season opener at Copper Mountain pictures are below. This great early start has laid a foundation for killer skiing for the Holidays and beyond!

Heavenly Opening Early!

Heavenly Mountain (a Vail Resort) is opening early! The Godzilla El Nino was dropped enough snow to promise a better ski season already this year than last. Of course last year may go into the record books as one of the worst ski seasons for California's Lake Tahoe area, this year is looking much better.

It's Snowing in Breckenridge

It's that time of year again! And we couldn't be more excited to announce that the Rocky Mountains are starting to look a lot more like ski season with a fresh blanket of snow last week and a new surge of snow on it's way! In Breckenridge, the cooler nights and cooler daytime temperatures have allowed the snow making teams to start to lay a sweet carpet of white on some of your favorite runs and thereby ensuring a great opening day on November 17!!

So whether your planning a pre-Christmas visit or not, take a look at this cute Breckenridge Snow Day video on their twitter page!
