Due to heavy snowfall that has blanketed the central Chilean Andes during the past two weeks, Valle Nevado announces the resort will open one month early, this Saturday, May 27, to day skiers and snowboarders. Access will be available to most of the resort's slopes and lifts, as well as restaurants, rentals, and retail shops, with the full hotel complex opening formally on June 23.

Due to the resounding success of our 1st Annual Chilean Wine Festival last August, Valle Nevado will again offer the Wine Festival for the dates August 18 - 25, 2017. The Wine Festival will include nightly wine seminars and tastings that offer an in-depth look into Chilean wine, and an outdoor Thursday afternoon festival with live music, food, and of course lots of fine wines. The Chilean Wine Festival is free to all guests of Valle Nevado hotels.
